A point was raised in History today..Irish famine?

Forget the fish...try reading Jonathan Swift's "A Modest Proposal" a very satirical take on how to solve the Irish famine. While it will be somewhat disconcerting as you read it, remember that Mr. Swift was in no way serious, regardless of how plausible a solution he may present.
