What should I do?

I met this guy as a kid and we recently got to know each other again, and now we are more than close. But the problem is he lives really far away(three states or so away). Plus, my parents do not know I talk to him due to the fact that he is a "bad" kid now ( he got into drugs, and ****). So, they have no idea that I am talking to him again, but I would really like to see him and he agrees. The problem is how should I see him without pissing of my parents. Also, he is my ..step- (ADOPTED) cousin which makes it even weirder...HEL
