I received a 1GB Infiniti card in the mail. Does anyone know what this is used for?

The card is used for your Infiniti's Music Box. The Music Box is Infiniti's mobile music player. It plays both your regular audio CDs and MP3 CDs, has a compact flash card reader for MP3 playback, and has an internal hard drive that allows you to rip and store your audio CDs into MP3. In the Infiniti M and G-sedan there are two limitations with the compact flash cards. First you are limited by the size of card you purchase, they vary. Second, the MB only recognizes 2GBs. And finally, the MB will only read 512 files on the card. So if you have more than 512 MP3 files on your CF, then it will only read the first 512. Infiniti possibly sent you a 1GB flash card as a courtesy gift for the purshase of your New Infiniti. They do a Bunch of things after you buy one of thier vehicles, I know when I bought my 2009 G37 sedan they sent me a huge Gift basket full of chocolates and Honey popcorn and scented items , they also sent me a Box filled with Infiniti items like the Key chains, the Flash card, an Infiniti water bottle and an Infiniti T-Shirt. They kind of went over the border with that one lol, expect something to come your way, I guess it depends on the dealer. Any way the card you have is used to import or export music from your car or computer, the LCD screen in the car will display all the activity and files from your flash card, as you may know they Music Box will allow you to record/transfer and store music from CD's, MP3 and more.
