Is it normal to not wash your clothes?

In my family, it is a common punishment to not let a child wear clean clothes if they misbehave. I admit that I have been a little bit bad lately, but that is just because we recently moved and I have a lot of built up anxiety. Now my clothes smell like crap because I can't wash them and everyone at my new school calls me "the crap kid" and "poopy pants." My parents told me that all those kids are really shallow and that anyone who deserved to be a true friend would see past my smelly clothes. They also remind me that it is my own fault that I am not allowed to wash my clothes. Is this a normal practice in your family too?
